MADROSA x Nom Supper Club are co-hosting Sunday Supper on January 11th, 2026. Together, we will explore Minnesota Foodways through multiple avenues. We will play the creative hands-on game Paper Telephone, savor food sourced within the state of Minnesota, and ponder questions guided by MADROSA through an absurdist and conceptual lens.
Paper Telephone by MADROSA is a creative, hands-on game of translation moving between image and text. Participants receive drawings to interpret as sentences, and sentences to interpret as drawings. After passing notecards through the group, we marvel at how meaning changes through the various scribbles and doodles! Each iteration is stand-alone and unique - what we create together will depend fully on who is in attendance, sitting next to you in our shared space.
There are 10 spots available for Sunday Supper. Dinner will take place at Nom headquarters in Seward, Minneapolis. Guests will share a welcome beverage paired thoughtfully to the evening and four pre fixe vegetable forward courses derived from a seasonal palette. Think fermented, fresh, and warm flavors to test your January tongue.
